Marion Newton thought Fremantle Dockers membership staff were joking when they called her to let her know she had won a trip for two to the 2015 Toyota AFL Grand Final as part of the club's Community Goals Raffle.

The Armadale resident, who is a foundation member of the club, won the early bird raffle drawn on Monday.

It includes two tickets to the Grand Final, including access to the pre-match function and bronze level reserved seating.

“There was no way I was going to be able to go, so this is amazing,” she said.

“What a way to start the week…I can’t believe it.”

Marion plans to take her son, who along with her was a member of the club’s first banner team, to football’s biggest stage on Saturday 3 October.

“I’ve never been to a Grand Final, I expect it will be incredible,” she said.

“I really hope the boys can keep playing well and I can watch them play.”

The full raffle will be drawn on Monday 2 November, 2015.
