Zac Clarke is not afraid to wear a purple bra in public and he wants men and women to join in.
The Fremantle ruckman has thrown his support behind Fremantle community events partner Breast Cancer Care WA and Purple Bra Day.
The WA-based charity provides personalised emotional, practical and financial support and care to people affected by breast cancer.
Clarke said he jumped at the chance to become an ambassador for the charity.
“I have family and a mother of a close friend, who suffer from breast cancer,” he said.

“It’s a really serious issue that needs increased awareness.”
One in eight Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 85.
About 42 women per day are diagnosed with the disease.
“I’m really looking forward to raising awareness and helping Breast Cancer Care WA raise money,” Clarke said.
Breast Cancer Care WA volunteers will be selling purple bras outside Gate 8 at Domain Stadium on Saturday ahead of Fremantle v North Melbourne.
They will also be accepting registrations for Purple Bra Day activities, which is on Friday June 19.
