Burgeoning Fremantle tall Jon Griffin says it is a money can’t buy experience learning from arguably the competition’s best ruckman, Aaron Sandilands.
Fremantle’s ruck stocks are in good hands with Sandilands, a four-time All Australian and Griffin both re-signing.
Griffin said learning from the Doig Medalist was priceless.
“It’s great to have Aaron,” he said.
“He’s a fantastic mentor for me.”
Griffin said Sandilands had been in terrific form, after he broke two VFL/AFL ruck records in as many weeks.
“His last two weeks have been outstanding,” he said.
