Midfielder David Mundy has averaged an impressive 27.8 disposals this season, including a whopping 39 against Geelong in Round 2.
But the 2010 Doig Medallist said there is no secret to his good early season form, just hard work.
“I’ve been very happy with my personal approach and mindset going into games,” he said.
“There is no real secret to it, just a lot of hard work.”
Mundy said a strong pre-season was paying dividends plus the work rate of the team was helping him.
“Physically (the preseason) has put me in the right frame to play well,” he said.
“Our entire midfield group’s mental approach to games has been top class,” he said."
Midfield mix crucial
“We are playing really aggressive, instinctive football and that’s really paying off.
“There are seven or eight guys who are really driving the mids at the moment.”
