Michele Nugent has a living reminder of her first Fremantle match.
 
She was pregnant with her daughter, Indigo when she watched Fremantle play for the first time in 1995.
 
Since that moment, the self-confessed Freo fanatic has been a loyal supporter and has committed to #FlyTheFlag outside her Spearwood home this finals series.
 
“I’ve loved the Dockers since I was a reporter at the Fremantle Gazette and we launched their strip on our front page,” she said.
 
“I went to one of the first matches, so did my daughter, because she was in my belly.
 
“She’s been a fan ever since, also, that was 21 years ago.”
 
Michele said like many fans, she lives and breathes purple.

“I love the team, the whole feeling of the club, the colours, the history of Fremantle and love to catch every game that we possibly can,” she said.
 
“I don’t have enough purple clothes to wear, I pile them on and it’s still not purple enough!
 
“There is a feeling of pride going to games.”
 
Michele said she was ecstatic for this year’s finals series, after the club secured its first minor premiership.
 
“It’s brilliant,” he said.
 
“It sends a message to all the other teams and supporters that we mean business and we can do this.”
 
Michele urged all Freo fans to #FlyTheFlag all through the finals.
 
“We have a flag flying on our house, we’re very proud it’s there and when people drive by they know we are a Freo house,” she said.
 
“I encourage all other Freo members and supporters to fly the flag.”
