Last Week’s Events

Danyle Pearce (FWD/MID, $459,000)
was outstanding against the Power with 110 from 28 possessions and two goals. Fellow stars David Mundy (MID, $548,000), Matthew Pavlich (FWD, $432,000) and Michael Barlow (MID, $622,000) also cracked the ton, while Nathan Fyfe (MID, $576,000) collected 31 touches for a score of 95. Under-priced defenders Garrick Ibbotson (DEF, $335,000) and Clancee Pearce (DEF/MID, $283,000) both fell short of expectation with 57 points each as Pearce filled the tagging vacancy left by Ryan Crowley.

On The Radar

With some popular Fantasy stars succumbing to injury at rival clubs, replacements are easy to find at Freo. Michael Barlow shrugged off an interrupted pre-season and looks set to remain one of the elite Fantasy performers in 2015 and although Nat Fyfe failed to reach 100 last week, I doubt that will be a regular occurrence and he provides great value.

What’s Coming Up?

Last time the Freo Dockers met Geelong at Skilled Stadium, Barlow had an absolute field day with 33 touches and a game high 137. Nathan Fyfe laid eight tackles on his way to 111, while David Mundy was also good for 100. Expect much the same from these guys and do not hesitate to bring them into your team this week.
