Kalgoorlie is set for a big night this Friday, with the annual Starlight Purple Haze Cocktail Party.
This year’s ‘Bringing the stars inside for Starlight’ party will be held on Friday 6 March at the Kalgoorlie Boulder Race Course.
Doors open at 6pm and there are still tickets available if you would like to go along.

There will be plenty of action happening on the night including a cash door prize, live auction items, nibbles, dessert table and live local band ‘Riff Raff’.
If you can’t make it to the party, the good people of Kalgoorlie have found a way for you to be involved.
Four personal trainers from Sweet Success Personal Training will be walking and running on treadmills throughout the entire night – as long as the donations keep coming in.
For every $3 donated to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, the trainers will walk for a minute, a $5 donation will get them running for a minute and $10 will increase their incline.
They will be taking donations on the night, but for those who can’t attend this is a great opportunity to be a part of it.

Last year, 360 Goldfields community members raised $55,500 for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Starlight supports families with seriously ill children through several initiatives.
These include their Starlight Express Rooms, their teenage Livewire programs, and granting once-in-a-lifetime wishes.
The 2015 Starlight Purple Haze Game, proudly supported by Fremantle Ports will be held on Sunday 5 April and will raise funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation.
