Hannebery
Dan Hannebery seems to enjoy playing at Domain Stadium. The exciting young Swan averages 27 possessions every time he steps foot on the ground. Stopping his run and ball-use, will help Fremantle win through to a Preliminary Final.

Head-to-head
The teams have met 30 times, with the Swans leading the ledger 16 to 13, with one draw. The last time they met in a final at Domain Stadium was an historic day for Fremantle. In the 2013 Preliminary Final, Fremantle was relentless in its 25-point win, earning the club’s first appearance in a Grand Final. Earlier this year, Fremantle pipped Sydney by 14-points in round four.

Home advantage
Domain Stadium has become one of the most feared road trips in football.  Fremantle lost just two of its 12 games at home this year. The purple army will be loud and passionate come bounce down on Saturday afternoon, and insisting on Freo’s first finals home win since 2013.

No Buddy
Sydney’s star forward Lance Frankin was ruled out of the final due to mental health issues earlier in the week. While Franklin can run riot against teams in finals, Freo fans will surely miss seeing him in action in September and be wishing him well in his recovery. Franklin averages just over two goals per game against Fremantle but the Swans have plenty of firepower left with Kurt Tippett in fine touch.
