The Freo faithful has voted Nat Fyfe’s snap against Port Adelaide in round one as the club’s Goal of the Year.
More than 3,000 fans voted at fremantlefc.com.au, with Fyfe polling 56 per cent pipping Michael Barlow’s round nine banana against Adelaide (29 per cent) and Tommy Sheridan’s blazing running goal (15 per cent).
The Brownlow Medallist’s one-man mission started in the pocket with a handball to himself followed by a snap at goal.
That shot was smothered but Fyfe quickly recovered the ball and slotted the goal.
The goal was a finalist in the AFL’s Goal of the Year.
Fremantle fans can vote on the best mark, goal and moment from the 2015 season over coming weeks.
