Last week’s events
Nat Fyfe had a huge second half against Gold Coast, eventually top scoring a team high 119 from 31 possessions and two goals. Lachie Neale continued his good form with 109, while six other Freo Dockers also managed triple figures despite the narrow margin on the score board. Unfortunately, Michael Barlow didn’t manage to get among the points with only 54 from his 14 possessions.

With downgrade options hard to find, Alex Pearce (DEF, $173,000) put his hand up with an impressive 75 against the Suns. He has a break-even of -10 and has reasonable job security given the injury woes in the Freo backline.
