Ahead of the Fremantle Dockers’ Starlight Purple Haze game against the Gold Coast on Saturday, the team faces some possible selection queries due to the return of key senior players and strong performers for Peel Thunder in the WAFL.

For your chance to win, be sure to SELECT YOUR BEST 22 and if your team matches the Freo team selection, you'll go into the draw to win a signed Fremantle guernsey at the end of the season.

Before you pick your Best 22, here are some of the players who could receive the call for senior selection:

Match Preview: Freo v Gold Coast

Michael Johnson
Johnson was a late withdrawal in round one with some calf awareness but Fremantle sports science manager Jason Weber said he expects the veteran defender to train fully and be available for selection by the match committee.

Aaron Sandilands
Sandilands didn’t play in round one due to suspension but should slot right back into the starting 22 against the Gold Coast. The two-time Doig Medallist will be a handy addition, especially given his track record against the Suns, who he tallied 70 hit outs against the last time we met.

Matt de Boer
De Boer continued his solid form in the WAFL, following up a 26 disposal round one effort with 34 touches in Peel’s three point win over East Fremantle on Saturday.

Freo fantasy fix: Rd 2 v Gold Coast

Ed Langdon
Langdon was all over the ground for Peel Thunder, gathering 32 disposals while drifting into the forward line and defence. He used his speed well, covering a lot of the ground, resulting in a team high 10 marks on the day.

Alex Pearce
The versatile key position player had 13 disposals playing across halfback but made his biggest impact with a late move into the forward line where he kicked two goals to seal victory for Peel Thunder.

Brady Grey
Grey finished with 16 disposals for Peel, and pressured with intensity as he finished with a game high 12 tackles. He was also tasked with tagging East Freo’s Liam Anthony, who he kept to just 23 disposals.
