The AFL has advised that times in Fremantle’s game against Geelong at Domain Stadium on Saturda will be altered under the league’s heat policy.
Temperatures are expected to reach 32C during the game.
The 1/4 and 3/4 time breaks will be increased from six to 10 minutes and the half-time break will be extended from 20 to 25 minutes.
The match will also have shortened quarters of 22 minutes plus any extended delay.
Talking points ahead of Geelong
Other changes include;
-Unlimited interchange cap
-Two additional water carriers per team
-The option of two extra interchange players if the team chooses to do so.
The game starts at 1:10pm and a reminder to Freo fans that players will be signing autographs for 20 minutes following the conclusion of the game.
