To get your mind locked on fantasy here are some Freo fantasy options you should consider:
The Lock
David Mundy (MID, $584,000)
The most expensive Freo fantasy player, while the price may seem steep, Mundy is as reliable a pick up as you’d want for that money.
The skipper has averaged over 23 touches a game in five of the last six seasons and is coming off a career best year in which he averaged nearly 27 disposals a game. You’re also paying for reliability with Mundy as he’s played over 22 games in 9 of his 11 seasons.
The Sleeper
Sam Collins (DEF, $146,000)
The mature age product has acquitted himself well in the pre-season and already has the body for a key defensive position in the AFL. While without a senior appearance to his name, his experience against bigger bodies in VFL competition, one-on-one ability and low price tag could see him pay dividends in your fantasy league.
The Zombie
Hayden Ballantyne (FWD, $306,000)
Ballantyne has the potential to come back from the fantasy graveyard in 2016. A down year by his standards, 2015 was interrupted by a pectoral injury that limited him to 15 games and 15 goals.
Healthy and with the potential for rotations through the midfield, ‘Ballas’ could rack up more disposals this year while retaining his usual knack for kicking goals.
