Redkite ambassadors Tendai Mzungu, Jack Hannath and Nick Suban spent their day off bringing smiles to kids faces at Princess Margaret Hosptial (PMH). The players visited the hospital as part of the club’s ongoing support of charity Redkite and their music therapy program.
The trio embraced their inner performers with the help of Redkite music therapist Louise Miles, playing musical instruments, listening to music and singing with the toddler patients.
Music therapy gives children and young people an enjoyable, supportive and creative environment where they can express themselves, regain a sense of control and stimulate important areas of their growth and development.
After the music therapy session, the boys surprised the children on ward 3B, signing autographs and mingling with young patients and their families.
The three ambassadors will continue to visit PMH and take part in the program on a monthly basis.
