The Fremantle squad trained in their junior football club jumpers on Wednesday as a tribute to retiring Fremantle veteran Matthew Pavlich.
Chris Mayne trained hard in his Belmont Bombers guernsey, alongside fellow Belmont alumni Tendai Mzungu and Michael Johnson.
“I’m wearing the Belmont Bombers today, there’s three of the boys here from Belmont,” Mayne said.
“Myself, Tendai (Mzungu) and Michael Johnson, we’ve all come from different years and we’re represented (Belmont) very strongly today.
“The Belmont football club is a proud club.”
Connor Blakely proudly represented the yellow and black guernsey of his junior club, the Bunbury Bulldogs.
“I’m wearing the Bunbury Bulldogs famous jumper,” Blakely said.
“We won back-to-back premierships in under 14s and under 15s so that was a really memorable moment.”
Tommy Sheridan donned the red sash of his junior club, the Riddell Bombers for training on Wednesday.
“The RDFL (Riddell District Football League) back in Victoria is one of the best leagues in country football,” Sheridan said.
“I’m excited to be representing the (Riddell) Bombers today.”
Pavlich will play his 353rd and final game against the Western Bulldogs this Sunday at Domain Stadium at 2:40pm.
