In today’s clash with the Western Bulldogs, Fremantle players will wear a customised guernsey to celebrate Matthew Pavlich’s 353^rd and final AFL match.

The jumper acknowledges Pavlich’s achievements over his 17-year career, including the date of his debut game, his multiple Doig Medal wins and years of All Australian selection.

“MP29” appears above the chevrons on the front of the jumper, while on the back of each player’s jumper “353” appears, representing the Fremantle champion’s total number of games for the club.
