Matthew Pavlich is set to return in this week’s game against Port Adelaide, after missing the 83-point win over Brisbane with a groin strain.
“Matthew seems to have recovered quite well,” senior coach Ross Lyon told Seven News on Tuesday night.
“We’ll be looking to get him in, but it’ll be quite tough.
“We will look to make room for him.”

Young midfielder Lachie Weller starred in the win over Brisbane, collecting 22 disposals and kicking four goals. The strong performance saw Weller receive a NAB Rising Star nomination, making it back to back nominations for Fremantle with Connor Blakely receiving the honour in the round 11 win over the Bombers.
“Our young players continue to grow on a weekly basis,” Lyon said.
“We’ll keep persisting and persevering and I’m certain our members love seeing the young players grow.
“He’s [Weller] doing all the work, we’re just trying to provide an environment that allows him to grow.”

Lyon admits the challenge against Port Adelaide will be ‘a sterner’ one, but the team will look to continue to improve.
Fremantle are set to take on the Power at Domain Stadium on Saturday at 2:35pm AWST.
