The Fremantle Dockers will hold four training sessions across the Perth metro region on Tuesday 15 March for young female footballers.

The training sessions will cover basic skills, fun mini games and the opportunity to meet and sign autographs with Freo players.

In 2015, there were close to 50,000 female participants playing community football in Western Australia, and with new under 12s and under 15s competitions in 2016, the game is set to grow in popularity.

Players from the WA Women’s Football League will also be in attendance to promote local competitions in their district and showcase the pathway for young girls to continue their football journey.

The Fremantle Dockers encourage all girls who would like to have some fun, meet the players and give football a go, to attend their nearest training session.
