Fremantle will head to Marvel Stadium to face Essendon in round one of the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, with the AFL announcing the round one fixture on Tuesday.

Bouncedown for the clash is at 1.45pm AEDT on Saturday 21 March. 

It's the first time Fremantle have opened the season against the Bombers.

The game will be Justin Longmuir’s first as the senior coach of Fremantle and could also see the club debuts of new trade signings Blake Acres and James Aish.
