Michael Apeness will miss the rest of the season after injuring the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee playing for Peel reserves in the WAFL on Saturday.
The 22-year-old is due to undergo surgery next week.
Apeness missed most of the 2015 season after injuring the PCL in his left knee.
“Given how hard he has worked to get back playing, it is very disappointing for Michael,” general manager of football operations Chris Bond said.
“After Michael has recovered from surgery, our medical team will set out a rehabilitation program for him to follow and ensure that the he has all the support he requires.”
