Fremantle senior coach Ross Lyon thinks Chris Mayne’s best football is yet to come ahead of his 150th in Friday night’s Preliminary Final against Hawthorn.
Having only missed two games this season, Mayne has been part of 17 of Freo’s 18 wins and has booted 27 goals.

Senior coach Ross Lyon said Mayne’s development had been solid and expects even better football to come from him.
“It’s a significant achievement when you come into an AFL club as young draftee to make your way and [achieve] life membership,” he said.
“He’s been a fierce competitor and he continues to be.

Mayne has averaged 13.8 disposals and 5.8 tackles during his eighth year with Fremantle after being drafted in 2007 at pick 40.
