Fremantle defender Stephanie Cain will be available for selection this weekend after being cleared of rough conduct during Sunday’s NAB AFL Women’s game against Adelaide at Fremantle Oval.
Cain was reported for her collision with Adelaide’s Angela Foley during the second quarter, but was cleared by the Match Review Panel on Monday.
The MRP stated that the contact was caused by circumstances outside Cain’s control, as Foley was pushed into the contest by another Fremantle player.
As a result, no action was taken by the MRP, clearing Cain to be available for selection in Saturday’s clash with Collingwood at Rushton Park in Mandurah.
