Two big names could make their return to football this weekend after coming back from hamstring injuries.
Stephen Hill and Hayden Ballantyne are listed as tests for this Sunday’s game against Carlton at Domain Stadium and high performance manager Jason Weber said they are tracking along well.
“Hayden had a significant hamstring injury, he has trained really well over the past couple of weeks,” Weber said.
“We are confident that after a strong week under his belt that we will get him to match committee and available for selection.
“Stephen obviously had a hamstring injury but it was much shorter in nature.
“He has trained really well and we are looking for a strong week from him and getting him to match committee and being available for selection.”
In more positive news Freo youngster Josh Deluca made a successful comeback to football this weekend, playing for Peel Thunder reserves.
“Josh had a good game out there, he came out symptom free so we are looking to upgrade his game load this week and get him playing a full game,” Weber said.
Brady Grey is listed as a test for Sunday’s game after injuring his shoulder in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win against Richmond at the MCG.
“Brady had an incident late on his left shoulder, at this stage we will be checking through it this week and getting him to training and seeing how he goes,” Weber said.
“He will be a test for this weekend.”
