After securing Jessie Hogan from Melbourne on Wednesday in the NAB AFL Trade Period, fremantlefc.com.au looks at some of the key forward’s best performances so far.
Round 2, 2018 v Brisbane
Hogan put up a complete performance in Melbourne’s see-sawing victory against Brisbane, with five goals accompanying his 22 disposals (12 contested), nine marks and three clearances.
Round 6, 2016 v St Kilda
Melbourne were dismantled by St Kilda despite Hogan’s best efforts, kicking 7.1 in the Demons’ 39-point loss.
Round 10, 2018 v Adelaide
Hogan booted five goals as Melbourne thumped Adelaide by 91-points in Alice Springs. On top of his five goals, Hogan had two goal assists, 20 disposals (10 contested) and 11 marks with five taken inside 50.
Round 11, 2018 v Western Bulldogs
Hogan kicked a bag of five goals for the second straight week as Melbourne dispatched the Bulldogs by 49-points. It was an almost carbon-copy of his efforts the week prior against Adelaide, kicking five goals, racking up 19 disposals and taking 10 marks.
Round 3, 2018 v North Melbourne
On paper, Jesse Hogan’s 1.2 might appear like little to write about, but the forward put in a dominant performance across all areas of the ground against North Melbourne at the MCG. Hogan collected a career-high 24 disposals, seven marks (two contested) and was involved in eight scoring possession chains and delivered five inside 50s.
