Andrew Brayshaw’s relentless pressure against Gold Coast in round three drew the attention of the hosts of Fox Footy’s Bounce program on Sunday, awarding the first-year player the ‘Blue Collar Performance of the Week’.
Co-host Cameron Mooney highlighted Brayshaw’s consistent pressure on the Suns defenders in Saturday’s clash at Optus Stadium, laying three tackles in as many seconds to win a holding the ball free kick against Kade Kolodjashnij in the fourth quarter.
“Check out these three massive efforts on the weekend, that was fantastic and it’s what we love in our game,” Mooney said.
Since making his debut, the no.2 draft pick is second for pressure acts at Fremantle with 62, behind captain Nat Fyfe with 66.
