It’s been a huge week for Freo’s Kara Donnellan and Ebony Antonio.
On Friday night, the pair finished in the top three at Freo’s Fairest and Best, with Antonio taking out top honours.
In her speech, Antonio paid tribute to the Fremantle AFLW captain and suggested that she was waiting for the big question from Kara.
“(Kara’s) my superstar partner, soulmate and, hopefully, future wife one day,” Antonio said last Friday night.
It didn’t take long for Donnellan to respond. On the pair’s post-season trip to Bali, she popped the question with Antonio giving the obvious yes.
"I finally gave in and put a ring on it!" Donnellan posted on Instagram on Wednesday.
"I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you @ebonyantonio12, you complete me and I bloody love you!”
Antonio also paid tribute to her new fiancee on Instagram and tried her luck again with another request.
“Could 2018 get any better? I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together,” Antonio posted.
“Now where’s my puppy?”
