Fremantle advises fans to plan ahead and get to the ground early, with a record crowd set to fill Optus Stadium for Sunday’s historic first Western Derby at the ground.
More than 58,000 fans are expected to attend the highly anticipated clash and the game is set to break the record for the biggest crowd at a football game in WA.
Bouncedown is at 2.40pm and there are a number of pre-game entertainment options, including the Purple Playground in the stadium precinct and a Next Generation Academy Curtain Raiser, starting at 12.20pm.
There is free public transport included three hours pre match and three hours post match with every ticket and Fremantle game-access membership.
“With a record crowd comes an increased load on Perth’s public transport network, so we encourage fans to plan ahead for Sunday’s game,” said general manger of business operations David Pitts.
“With free public transport with Transperth, there are plenty of options to get to the ground via bus or train.”
Match trains will depart Perth Stadium approximately every seven minutes, commencing at 9.07am with the last train before bouncedown arriving at 2.35pm.
