Fremantle have received a boost at both ends of the ground with two crucial inclusions for Saturday night’s clash with Sydney at the SCG.
Michael Walters will make his return from knee injury while Nathan Wilson comes back into the starting 22 following a week out with back soreness.
The pair replace Danyle Pearce and Taylin Duman, who have both been omitted.
Walters, who was in scintillating form before going down early in the round six Western Derby, kicked five goals against the Western Bulldogs in round five.
The small forward, who also runs through the midfield, has kicked 10 goals from his six appearances this season.
Wilson has become an important cog in Freo’s back six since arriving at the club from GWS in the 2017 NAB AFL Trade Period.
Playing at half-back, Wilson has averaged 18.7 disposals and 5.7 marks from seven appearances.
Bouncedown at the SCG is at 7.25pm EST (5.25pm WST) with live coverage into Perth on 7mate and Fox Sports from 5pm.
Meanwhile Sydney have included Dan Hannebery and Lance Franklin, with the forward a suprise selection after being ruled out earlier in the week.
