Fremantle have made two changes to their team as they prepare to take on reigning premiers, Adelaide in Darwin on Friday night.
Tiah Haynes and Tayla Bresland replace Belinda Smith and Emily McGuire who have been omitted from the team that lost to Greater Western Sydney at Fremantle Oval last Saturday.
It will be the first time Bresland has played for Freo in 2018, the defender didn’t miss a game in 2017 but a knee injury ruled the 22-year-old out of the first five rounds of 2018.
Haynes has only played one game for Freo this year, the 24-year-old was omitted after the round one loss to the Western Bulldogs at Whitten Oval.
Fremantle take on Adelaide at 5.35pm (CDT) at TIO Stadium on Friday 9 March and the AFL have implemented the heat policy for the match.
As a result, the quarter and three quarter time breaks increase from 6.5 minutes to 8 minutes (teams to leave the ground to enable player cool down), the half time break increases from 16 minutes to 20 minutes and teams will have two extra water carriers.
