The Fremantle Football Club has finalised the composition of the selection panel to appoint the club’s new senior coach.
The panel will be chaired by board member and former club captain Peter Mann.
Mann, who is also chair of the club’s football sub-committee, will be joined on the panel by president Dale Alcock, board member Sue Murphy, general manager of football Peter Bell and former player and Life Member Luke McPharlin.
Alcock said that the selection process will be led by independent facilitator, Damien Eves.
“As advised last week, the process to appoint Fremantle’s new senior coach is our highest priority,” Alcock said.
“The process is under way and we are collating a list of prospective candidates.
“I reiterate that there is no one anointed for the role and no preferred candidates.
“The club will be casting the net as widely as possible and undertaking a thorough process to ensure the best possible candidate is appointed as our new senior coach.”
Until an announcement regarding the appointment of the senior coach is made, there will be no further comment from the club on the matter.
