Lachie Schultz couldn’t think of a better way to make his debut as Fremantle were rampant in an 82-point victory at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
Schultz impressed in his first AFL game, kicking two goals with 17 disposals and six marks.
“It was the best time of my life, I’ll remember this day forever,” Schultz said.
“I don’t think words can really describe how I’m feeling right now. It’s absolutely a dream come true and this feeling, it’s indescribable.”
You could hardly see Schultz after he kicked his first career goal in the final term, with his teammates coming a long way to celebrate the moment with the 21-year-old.

“That first goal was pretty special,” Schultz said.
“We’re a very tight group so to have everyone come and jump all over me was a pretty special feeling.”
The Victorian said he was delighted to have his family and close friends in the stands for the game.
“I had a few of my family and friends in the stands and shout-out to the ones that did come over,” Schultz said.
“It means a lot to me so to have them come over and have some of your family and friends up there, it was great.”
