Twelve Fremantle-listed players were in action in Peel’s 19-point loss to East Perth at Leederville Oval on Saturday.
Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how each player fared.
Brett Bewley
Played on the wing for the game. Brett was elite with his running and breaking the lines. He ended up with 27 possessions, had five clearances from the wing and had two scoring shots.
Bailey Banfield
Played inside on the ball. Bailey has continued his strong body work and ended up with nine clearances, 11 tackles and was able to push forward to kick a goal at a crucial moment late in the game.
Lachie Schultz
Played forward for the game. Lachie had 22 possessions and his release run and work to support the defence helped Peel get into the game. He was able to get himself into a good position in the forward line to kick two goals.

Luke Valente
Played on the ball, he had five clearances and 18 possessions. Luke continues to build and he looked clean inside the contest.
Tobe Watson
Played across half back. Tobe’s overlap run and kicking was important to set Peel up from the backline. He was able to spoil and get a hand in when needed.
Hugh Dixon
Played back and also on ball in the ruck. Hugh competed well in the ruck contests, he had nine hitouts and his follow up was good. He also played back early and then swung forward to try and get a late goal.
Mitch Crowden
Played on ball for the game. Mitch ended up with four clearances but had less than his usual impact on the ball with 14 possessions. His bodywork around the contest and around the clearances was at his usual best.
Tom North
Played on the wing and forward for the game. Tom’s tackle pressure was good, he had five tackles and he was able to lift his run and work between the lines to finish with 14 possessions.
Jason Cater
Played across half back. Jason’s overlap run and his work rate to link the play was good. He finished with 12 possessions, which is slightly lower than his usual impact.
Hayden Ballantyne
Played across half forward. Hayden tackled well, competed when the ball went to ground and he ended up kicking 1.1.
Griffin Logue
Played as a key defender for the game in a strong battle with East Perth’s Mitchell Dobson. Griffin played deeper and when the ball hit the ground, he was good at his pressure and he had seven tackles.
Sam Sturt
Played forward for the game. Sam’s pressure was good around the stoppage, laying four tackles.
Dillon O’Reilly
Played forward and back. Early in the game he played forward and then the opportunity presented to play back, where he showed some good spoiling and an ability to run off. He went forward again late in the game where he kicked a goal.
