The hearing was held on Tuesday afternoon with the mid/forward appearing via video link from Fremantle headquarters in Cockburn to the hearing at Marvel Stadium.

Fremantle successfully argued that the incident was negligible impact instead of low impact, resulting in Walters being cleared of any sanction.

As a result, Walters has been cleared to play against Carlton at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
