David Mundy and Nat Fyfe have been fined by the AFL’s Match Review Officer for incidents occurring during Fremantle’s clash with Carlton at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
Mundy was charged with striking Carlton’s Ed Curnow in the third quarter.
Based on video evidence and a medical report from Carlton, the incident was classified as intentional, low impact and body contact, which carries a $3000 sanction, down to $2000 with an early plea.
Fyfe was charged with causing umpire contact during the third quarter of the clash, which carries a $1500 sanction, down to $1000 with an early plea.
