The 2019 Doig Medal Presentation Dinner will be held on Saturday 5 October in the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth.

This week, fremantlefc.com.au will be running through the players in contention to take out the club’s most prestigious award.

Season summary
The running midfielder had a career-best season, averaging 25 disposals and 3.6 inside 50s per game.

He led Fremantle for 131 marks for the season, averaging six per game.

An elite runner, Langdon ranked third for metres gained at Fremantle averaging 439.1 per game.

Best game: Round 20 v Geelong
Langdon polled one Brownlow vote in both of Fremantle’s losses in rounds 22 and 23, but he also had a big impact in their round 20 win against Geelong.

Langdon played an important role in Fremantle’s all-round team performance, with 28 disposals and two goals in a 34-point win.

The highlight of the game came from Langdon’s right foot, with a freakish soccered goal to get Freo’s first major on the board in the opening term.

He also laid a season-high five tackles as he helped Fremantle overwhelm the top of the table Cats.
