Star midfielder Stephen Hill will play his first AFL game in more than 10 months when Fremantle take on Port Adelaide at Optus Stadium on Saturday.
Hill is one of three inclusions for the all-important clash, joining young duo Sean Darcy and Griffin Logue in the team.
Darcy comes in for injured ruckman Rory Lobb while Logue is expected to take on the role left by injured defender Alex Pearce.
Adam Cerra also comes out of the team due to illness.
Hill could either add his usual run and carry to Fremantle’s midfield or return to the half-back role he played for most of his 13 games in 2018.
Logue will play his first game since round 22 of the 2017 season.
The defender played 13 games in his debut season in 2017 and missed all of 2018 and the start of the 2019 season due to multiple injuries.
Darcy returns to the Fremantle lineup after playing the opening two games of the season.
The ruckman has averaged 33.5 hitouts from his 17 AFL games to date, which rates as ‘elite’ according to AFL Stats Pro.
Darcy has also put up high hitout numbers in the WAFL, averaging 43 per game this season - excluding round six where he came off early due to an ankle injury.
Bouncedown for the game is at 2.35pm WST.
Saturday’s clash is the Kids Day Out at Optus Stadium. When you purchase one level five Adult GA ticket through Ticketmaster you can get up to four free junior tickets.
