Fremantle’s second pre-season fixture for 2025 has been confirmed by the AFL, with the Club set to meet Melbourne at Rushton Park on Sunday 2 March for the Club’s AAMI Community Series Match.

Fremantle’s first official pre-season hitout is against the Indigenous All-Stars, as announced by the AFL in October.

The match simulation game, scheduled for Saturday 15 February at Optus Stadium, will be the first time the Indigenous All-Stars have played together at a high level since 2015.

The AFL will begin announcing members of the Indigenous All-Stars playing squad later this week with Michael Walters, Shai Bolton, Alex Pearce and Quinton Narkle all in line for selection.

AAMI Community Series Matches will take on the following format:

• Four quarters of 20 mins plus time on (as per AFL Premiership Season)
• Squad of 30 players, eight interchange and four Emergencies. Minimum of
four players on the Interchange Bench during the match at any time.
• No interchange Cap.
• Full panel of umpires appointed by the AFL.

All matches will be broadcast live on Foxtel and Kayo and fully ticketed for fans to attend.

Tickets for the AAMI Community Series will go on sale in February with further information to be communicated in late January.
