Fremantle’s 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season fixture has been confirmed, headlined by marquee matches at Optus Stadium.

The headline opponents heading west in 2025 include Sydney (round 2) Collingwood (round 9), Essendon (round 15), Hawthorn (round 18) and Carlton (round 21), after the AFL revealed the details for rounds 1-15 on Thursday.

The Annual Len Hall Tribute Game will be under lights on the Friday ANZAC Day public holiday and will highlight three consecutive primetime weeknight games for the first time in Fremantle history.

Rounds 7, 8 and 9 will feature home games against the Adelaide Crows (Len Hall Tribute Match, Friday 25 April – Public Holiday) and Collingwood (Thursday 8 May), with an away Friday night fixture against St Kilda at Marvel Stadium in between (Friday 2 May).

All three games will be broadcast live nationally on Channel 7.

Fremantle will play an additional Thursday night fixture in round 15 against Essendon at Optus Stadium with the AFL introducing 23 Thursday night matches across the season.

Fremantle fans looking to secure seats for any of the marquee games at Optus Stadium in the first 15 rounds are encouraged to explore the Club’s membership options, one of which includes a 3-Game Pass to access to any three home games of your choice - excluding the RAC Derby - throughout the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

Fremantle opens the season away against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday 15 March, followed by the round two Optus Stadium clash with 2024 Grand Finalists Sydney on Sunday 23 March.

The Club’s annual RAC Derby matches against West Coast begin with an ‘away’ game in round three (Sunday 30 March), before a home fixture in round 20 with the date and time to be confirmed.

Freo’s home Sir Doug Nicholls Round fixture will be a Saturday night clash with Port Adelaide in round 11 (24 May) as one of the Club’s six confirmed Saturday games.

The bulk of the Club’s away trips will be to Victoria, with Fremantle set to play twice each at Marvel Stadium and the MCG, and once at GMHBA Stadium.

The Club will travel to South Australia twice to play Richmond in Gather Round and Port Adelaide in round 22, New South Wales twice to clash with GWS in round 10 (also part of Sir Doug Nicholls Round) and Sydney in round 17, and Queensland once to play Gold Coast in round 12.

The Club has elected to not stay in Adelaide following the round five Gather Round fixture as it has done in previous seasons, instead opting to head straight to Melbourne early for the round six game against the Demons for one of Freo’s two MCG games.

Fremantle’s round 13 bye precludes three consecutive games at Optus Stadium in rounds 14, 15 and 16, including the recently announced ‘away’ fixture against North Melbourne in round 14.

Fremantle play West Coast, St Kilda, Collingwood, Sydney, Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs twice.

The dates and times of Rounds 16-24 remain as a floating fixture and will be confirmed by the AFL later in the season.
