Walyalup has named an unchanged team to take on Euro-Yroke (St Kilda) in the Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.

Co-vice-captain and star midfielder Caleb Serong will look to continue his blistering 2024 form in the clash against Euro-Yroke, being named in the middle of the ground alongside dual Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe, Andrew Brayshaw and Luke Jackson.

Serong leads the competition for disposals in season 2024, with 300 after the first nine rounds at an average of 33.3 per game.

Luke Ryan also leads the competition for marks (77), taking 24 of those in the last two rounds.

The last time Ryan played Euro-Yroke (St Kilda) was round one of 2023, when the defender gathered 37 disposals, 13 marks and 156 AFL fantasy points.

Ryan is named at half back alongside speedster Jordan Clark and veteran James Aish.

Hayden Young will face Euro-Yroke for the sixth time in his career on Saturday after being named on the bench.

The Saints are the first team Young broke the 30-disposal mark against back in round two of 2022, since then Young has averaged 28 disposals, 10 marks and 104.3 fantasy points against Euro-Yroke.

Euro-Yroke have won three of the last five meetings the two Clubs have had dating back to 2020.

The Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash with Euro-Yroke will feature a white-clash version of Walyalup’s Indigenous jumper, designed by Club legend Michael Johnson in collaboration with Daniel McHenry.

Walyalup’s five-man bench of Tom Emmett, Heath Chapman, Young, Michael Walters and Jaeger O’Meara features the substitute who will be confirmed one hour before the game.

Bouncedown is at 7.30pm EST on Saturday at Marvel Stadium, with the game broadcast live on Fox Footy and 7mate and streamed live on Kayo.
