The midfielder racked up a Club record 46 disposals for the clash - 13 more than any other player on the ground as he was influential at the contest and giving Fremantle first look breaking away from stoppage.
Luke Jackson earned seven votes after assuming the number one ruck role in the absence of Sean Darcy. Jackson had 18 disposals, 30 hit-outs and kicked two goals as he became both a marking target and link-up player coming out of the contest.
Luke Ryan was awarded seven votes for his 33 disposals, 10 marks and 817 metres gained, playing a pivotal role in launching Fremantle’s attack from the defensive half.
Club Captain Alex Pearce put in a similar effort defensively earning two votes, with his 19 disposals and six marks playing a crucial role in holding down the backline throughout Brisbane's early domination and late fightback.
Andrew Brayshaw’s 32 disposals, eight marks and five tackles earned him two votes from the coaches, while Josh Treacy’s three goals and forward 50 pressure won the big man 1 vote.
