Fremantle will open their 2024 account against grand finalists Brisbane at Optus Stadium, in what will be the Club’s first start to a season on home soil since 2019.

The Sunday 17 March fixture will technically be Brisbane’s second game for the season, with the AFL’s Opening Round to see the Lions take on Carlton at the Gabba the week prior to round 1.

Fremantle’s season-opener against the Lions is the Club’s third confirmed fixture of the 2024 season.

A Gather Round clash with Carlton (round 4) and an Alice Springs match against Melbourne (round 12) were confirmed for Fremantle earlier in the week.

The full fixture for 2024 will be announced by the AFL on Thursday.
