Fremantle’s Emma O’Driscoll and Mim Strom have been selected in the AFLW All-Australian squad for 2023.
Both O’Driscoll and Strom have had standout seasons for 2023, proving to be consistent on the field week-in-week-out.
Strom has been persistent working on her ruck craft, with a career-high 41 hitouts in Fremantle’s Round 10 game against the Swans.
22-year-old Strom continues to go to another level as she sits third in the competition for hit-outs, totalling 257 for the 2023 season.

Also announced in this year’s AFLPA’s 22under22 squad, Strom is now one game off reaching her 50-game AFLW milestone and was the youngest player in the league to hit 25 games.

O’Driscoll proved to be consistent in the backline for Fremantle, leading the competition in intercept possessions for the 2023 NAB AFLW season, totalling 85 across the 10 rounds.
O’Driscoll had her career best performance in the Round 6 clash against the Kangaroos, getting to work with 28 disposals, 14 contested possessions, 15 intercept possessions, nine marks, eight rebound 50s and 467 metres gained.
With multiple appearances in AFLW’s Team of the Week throughout the year, O’Driscoll averaged 17 disposals for the 2023 season.
The AFLW All-Australian team of 21 players will be announced at the W Awards on Monday 27 November.
The All Australian Panel consists of Nicole Livingstone (Chair), Andrew Dillon, Laura Kane, Jason Bennett, Kelli Underwood, Sarah Black, Katie Loynes, Narelle Smith, Megan Waters.
