Walyalup have made four changes to their side for Sunday’s Indigenous Round clash with St Kilda at Walyalup Oval.

Club debutant Serena Gibbs and star midfielder Kiara Bowers are joined by Makaela Tuhakaraina and Roxy Roux as Walyalup's inclusions in their starting 21.

The quartet will replace Ebony Antonio (knee soreness) and Joanne Cregg (knee) as well as injured pair Sarah Verrier and Amy Mulholland who were initially listed in Thursday's squad selection.

The AFL has approved Walyalup's squad change with Verrier and Mulholland both withdrawn from the team for Sunday's match.

Ariana Hetherington and Emmelie Fielder come into the squad as emergencies, listed alongside Sarah Wielstra as the other emergency for the clash.

Bowers will make her return from a knee injury that has seen her miss the last three rounds, while Gibbs will pull on the purple for the very first time.

A versatile tall, Gibbs was traded to Walyalup in the off-season after playing six games for Carlton between 2021 and 2022.

Walyalup will wear their 2023 AFLW Indigenous Jumper for the first time this weekend.

The jumper tells the story of the Club being born from Walyalup, the area now known as Fremantle, highlighting these through the colours of the South Fremantle and East Fremantle Football Clubs.

The Peter Farmer Designs Team worked closely with board member Colleen Hayward and her nephew Jason Barrow on the design, with the final design developed and produced by Kayley Emery and Peter Farmer Jnr.

The match will also celebrate the 50th AFLW game of Laura Pugh.

Bouncedown for the clash is at 12.05pm Sunday and tickets are on sale now.
