Barbara, who is heading into her eleventh year of membership was the winner of the Kenwood kMix Mystic Purple range as she renewed her membership before the cut off date, November 29 2013.
“It’s great sitting in the cheer squad, and because I have been in there so long I’ve been able to watch all the kids in there grow up,” Barbara said.
“I usually cook up something to take along and share, I’ll be able to use my new food processor to make some quiches this season.”
Barbara said it was easy to recall her favourite moment whilst being a member.
After flying back to Perth from Melbourne only a week before Fremantle qualified for the grand final, Barbara decided to travel from her home in Sorrento to Fremantle to watch the game.
“I had to be in the heartland of Freo to watch the grand final, “she said.
“I got the train into Freo and it was full of fans, the atmosphere was great, and when we arrived all I could see was a sea of purple.”
