Five players have been added to Fremantle’s extended squad for Sunday’s clash with Carlton at Optus Stadium.
The injured Nat Fyfe is the only omission at this stage, with Sam Sturt, Corey Wagner, Karl Worner, Bailey Banfield and last week’s substitute Neil Erasmus coming into the squad of 26 players.
The starting 22 will be confirmed at 3pm Friday via fremantlefc.com.au and the substitute will be announced an hour before bouncedown.
Erasmus could be used as a straight swap in the midfield for Fyfe, with Erasmus replacing Fyfe at the start of the fourth quarter against the Western Bulldogs.
Luke Jackson has retained his spot despite Senior Coach Justin Longmuir revealing the forward / ruck had been playing through injury for the past fortnight.
Worner is the only potential debutant among the extended interchange, with the 2021 rookie draftee continuing to impress off the half back for Peel.
It will be broadcast live into WA on Channel 7, Fox Footy and it can also be streamed on Kayo.
The game is celebrated as the Purple Hands Foundation Game. Fans are encouraged to make their mark and donate to Purple Hands to become an integral part in delivering essential programs that tackle key social issues impacting youth.
