The Purple Hands Foundation is proud to support the Hand in Hand – Crossing for Inclusion, a new all-inclusive initiative in collaboration with WA All Abilities, Starkick, the WAFC, the AFL and the Fremantle Dockers.
The event will be launching prior to Fremantle’s round 17 game against Carlton on Sunday 9 July, starting from the west end of the Matagarup Bridge along Sailani Avenue, adjacent to Gloucester Park.
The Crossing for Inclusion will begin from 12:30pm and cross over the bridge before finishing at Optus Stadium before the game. The crossing will involve the whole community, including people with disabilities, crossing the bridge together, hand in hand with Purple hands Foundation and Fremantle Football Club
The Hand in Hand - Crossing for Inclusion initiative is aimed at fostering inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with disabilities in our community. It will serve as a powerful symbol of unity and support, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to promote an inclusive society and create an accessible environment for all.
We invite and encourage all fans to join us for what promises to be a history making event symbolising the bridges we can build, through our game.
