Fremantle have finalised their starting 22 for Friday’s Gather Round clash with Gold Coast at Norwood Oval.

There are no changes to the selected team and Will Brodie has been named as the substitute.

There are also no changes to the Gold Coast team and Alex Sexton has been named as the substitute.

Brodie was flown into South Australia on Monday following an impressive outing for Peel (37 disposals and seven tackles) after missing selection for Freo’s Round 4 clash with Adelaide.

Friday’s match will mark Brodie’s first game being named as the sub since he arrived at Fremantle.

The substitute is now a tactical option for coaches, meaning an injury is not required to activate the player.

Forward Sam Sturt and defender Corey Wagner were also flown in from WA earlier in the week.

Sturt will line up for his first AFL game since Round 4 in 2021 while Wagner will make his Club debut, having previously played 19 games for North Melbourne and Melbourne between 2016 and 2019.

Bouncedown for the clash is at 4.40pm CST (3.10pm WST) and will be broadcast live into WA on Channel 7, Fox Footy and can be streamed on Kayo.

The game is officially a sellout, with 10,500 tickets sold for the Norwood Oval clash.
