- Houghton ready for finals
- AFLW: Cooper post-match Q & A - Rd 7 v North Melbourne
Fremantle have made their first finals series in AFLW history following Saturday’s exciting win in a do-or-die clash with North Melbourne.
With their 27-point win, Freo have finished in second place in Conference A with six wins from seven games and a percentage of 141.2.
The result means Fremantle is set play either Carlton, Brisbane or Geelong in the preliminary final, depending on the result of Sunday’s clash between Carlton and the Western Bulldogs.
As Conference B winners, either Carlton, Brisbane or Geelong will have earned the right to host the final next weekend meaning Fremantle will be the travelling team as the Conference A runner-ups.
The AFL have confirmed that the fixture for the AFLW finals series will be released on Monday.
