Fremantle will make up to four changes for the RAC Derby, played on Sunday at Optus Stadium.

Named as a substitute in round two against North Melbourne, Michael Walters returns to the starting 22 for the first time this season.

A late withdrawal against North Melbourne, Nat Fyfe completed Thursday’s main training at Optus Stadium but will be given at least another week to rest his foot due to a plantar fascia concern.

Walters has been named on the field at half forward, while Nathan O’Driscoll, Brandon Walker and potential debutant Matthew Johnson are also potential inclusions.

O’Driscoll, Walker and Johnson are all looking to play their first AFL game of 2023 and have been named on the extended interchange alongside Jye Amiss, Ethan Hughes, Liam Henry, Bailey Banfield and Will Brodie.

After missing round one with an achilles injury, Walters had an instant impact when he was substituted on in the third quarter against the Kangaroos, kicking two goals.

The starting 22 will be named on Friday afternoon at 2pm via fremantlefc.com.au, and the substitute will be confirmed an hour before bouncedown.

Bouncedown for the clash is at 3.20pm and the game will be broadcast on Channel 7, Fox Footy and can be streamed on Kayo.
