Up to four fresh faces could make their Saints debut this Sunday when St Kilda hosts Fremantle at Marvel Stadium this Sunday.
Off-season recruits Liam Stocker and Zaine Cordy will represent the red, white and black for the first time after being named in the starting 18.
Stocker's selection caps a surreal few months for the 23-year-old after earning a place on the Saints' list in January following a four-year career at Carlton.
Meanwhile, Cordy made the switch from the Bulldogs in last year's free agency window and is expected to play as a marking target up forward.
Teenagers Mattaes Phillipou and Anthony Caminiti have been named on the extended interchange. If selected in the final team, the exciting pair will make their AFL debuts.
Marcus Windhager (hand) is hoping to prove his fitness during Friday's training session, having been named on the extended bench alongside Jack Bytel, Jimmy Webster, Ben Paton, Tom Campbell and Cooper Sharman.
A substitute will be named from the emergencies an hour before Sunday's game, which kicks off at 4:40pm.
St Kilda's final team will be confirmed at 5pm AEDT on Friday.
